The money collected in our annual Fund Drive (mailings are sent out March through September) is used to buy medical supplies, equipment, and apparatus. The Sterling community is served 24 hours a day, 365 days a year by a professionally trained force of more than 185 operational and administrative volunteers. Our members are not paid.
Please understand that we enjoy working with our brother and sister firefighters — we are not an organizational component of the Sterling Volunteer Fire Company and donations are not shared between these two distinct non-profit agencies.
